At our Boulder, CO location, we have immediate openings for two Production Associates. These Associates will report directly to our Production Supervisor and work closely with our Quality Control area, additional Production Associates, the Production Lead, and Technical Support Technicians.
 
General Functions
Using various hand assembly techniques and provided procedures, he/she assembles electro-mechanical subassemblies, box build or accessory products. Verifies and tests on his/her own work and previous work. This job involves technical, repetitive, assembly tasks which must be performed efficiently and with a high degree of concern for product quality.
 
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assembles components using hand assembly techniques possibly including but not limited to:  soldering, gluing, building cables and harness, attaching mechanical parts, bolts, nuts screws, brackets, tubing, gear mechanisms, building chassis, including testing, labeling and packaging, and record keeping.
  • Verifies or inspects, functionally tests and documents when applicable, quality of own work and/or that previously performed.
  • Equipment used may include, but is not limited to pneumatic drivers and other hand tools, test and measurement equipment, and soldering irons.
  • Understands and follows Good Manufacturing Practices on those products regulated by the FDA and ISO requirements. Understands and follows assembly procedures and drawings. Understands and follows other policies and standards in place at HEI per job profile.
  • Responsible for general housekeeping, labeling and monitoring of equipment and chemicals.
  • May perform Calibration and/or PM of equipment.
  • May participate in problem solving and other product team activities.
  • Any other job as directed.
 
 
Qualifications & Skills
  • Must be able to read and follow basic instructions and basic drawings.
  • Must have good communication/ team skills.
  • Detail oriented 
 
Background & Education
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. 
  • Minimum of 3 months previous assembly experience preferred.
