Production Supervisor
Victoria, MN
Oversee and manage the production operations and personnel of all production departments. Maximize production and efficiency, assure quality of product and traceability during the assembly processing. Environment includes implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Department Procedures (DPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Monitors progress of individuals and teams toward achievement of departmental goals. Performs various administration activities such as completing reports and processing time sheets, etc.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and motivate production employees, communicate expectations, control and measure work results and status, prepare reports.

Manage manufacturing activities during the assigned shift.

Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to train others on production/quality control methods and provide direction and constructive feedback.

Facilitate performance and adherence to company policy, taking timely and appropriate action.

Coordinate staffing and direct area training, leading employee development by planning, establishing goals, and managing performance improvement.

Attends intra-departmental meetings, support other departments’ requests to enable company goal achievement and success.

Lead shift or product area continuous improvement efforts, facilitating acceptance to change.

Acts as business professional and leader, continuing personal training and skills development.

Assists other areas or teams as needed in special projects.

Ability to identify the cause of production issues and institute appropriate corrective actions.

Familiar with lean manufacturing and 5S methodology.

Supports established goals to achieve quality objectives.

Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Excellent written, oral and listening skills
- Ability to train others
- Strong, hands-on leadership abilities
- Good problem solver.
BACKGROUND & EDUCATION:
- Two or more years of manufacturing supervisor experience.
- College degree with 3 years PCB Rigid/Flex background preferred.
- Computer skills required: MS Word, Excel, SAP
