Quality Inspection Supervisor

Our Tempe, AZ facility has an immediate opening for a Quality Inspection Supervisor

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage calibration control system
Manage and develop team of inspectors and test personnel.
Continually develop, implement and maintain the quality program.
Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Sales and customers on quality issues.
Create, implement and review product specific quality procedures.
Hands-on quality inspection of printed circuit boards that requires careful attention to detail.
Investigate, collect and analyze data to determine continual quality improvement opportunities.

BACKGROUND, EDUCATION & SKILLS:

3+ years Quality experience in a PCB/electronic assembly/manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of IPC specifications.
Knowledge of quality assurance methods and tools.
Understanding of ISO 9001:2000 standard.
Must possess excellent documentation, communication & organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience in working with operating systems such as Oracle,SAP or other similar operating system.
Ability to work independently to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision. Must be capable of making sound decisions under pressure with reasonable foresight as to outcomes.
Associate or Bachelor degree in a technical, quality, or management field is a plus.
Must be willing to think ‘outside the box’ and provide solutions to problems.
