HEI, Inc. has an opening for a full-time RF Design Engineer. He/she will report to the General Manager.

Required Skills:

10+ years of exposure to the EMS industry, preferably microelectronics
Deep knowledge in RF on both design and manufacturing levels
Fluent on assembly processes and lean manufacturing
Strong on electrical design at schematic generation level
Proven Project Management skills
Strong applied engineering skills which can be leveraged in the creation of manufacturing processes and products
Knowledge of programming of manufacturing equipment
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to translate customer specifications, written or verbal, into quotes and high quality products
Fluent on utilization of manufacturing tools (Gage R&R, cpk studies and design of experiments)
Excellent communicator to internal and external customers on written and verbal levels
Continuous Improvement Minded
Visible sense of urgency
Thrives in fast paced environments
Strong ability to multitask

Desired Skills:

Ability to support sales activities
Basic understanding of financials and cost accounting
Working knowledge of CAD tools (SolidWorks, ProE, AutoCAD, PADS, GenFlex, etc)
General understanding of manufacturing test concepts
General business acumen

Background & Education:

BS in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering
